Critical Mass Bike Ride to Eco Design Fair Spring 2011
GoodtoShanghai is teaming up with the Eco Design Fair and kicking off Earth Week 2011 with a critical mass bikeride for cleaner air, better urban transport planning and an overall healthier society. The ride starts from Xujiahui Park and ends on the South Bund riverside at the Eco Design event.
There has been a recent surge of bikes in China. The current rise in bike users and they are being adopted as contemporary environmental accessories. However, returning to the same level of integration in Chinese cities is still a long ways off. Coolqi is promoting the use of bikes as a practical, healthy and carbon free mode of transport. Perfect for living life in the big city and making those everyday short trips.

eco Fashion show
Every event we host a special fashion show that showcases the finest in eco-designs. All entries in the show are made either through recyclable products, or sustainable materials. In the gallery you’ll see some fine examples of past events’ work, all designed either by professional designers, or students trying to make their mark.
eco Wedding Show
This year also celebrates the Eco Design Fair’s first ever wedding exposition. Wedding expos are always a grand affair, and now you’re being shown a new way to celebrate your happiest day by making it also a good day for the environment. The Eco Fashion Show will also showcase novel methods that show you how to add something recycled to the bride’s list of accessories and the outfits of every member of the wedding party.
Interactive Workshops at Eco Design Fair Spring 2011
GoodtoShanghai will be introducing more forward thinking workshops at this spring’s Eco Design Fair to create a forum for discussion that allows the free sharing of ideas and opportunities for sustainable change. Free workshop topics include; how to start your own eco business, how to upcycle broken electronics (kid friendly), and Urban Farming topics like hydroponic farming, bee pollination, and rooftop gardening.
eco Scavenger Hunt
Satisfy your child’s intuitive skills and wonderment as we offer a new scavenger hunt. Other hunts have you on the prowl for random items strewn about the land. Eco Design fair tests the family’s memory, and knowledge of the exhibitors and many locales of the fair. Clues will draw people to individual booths, and encourage families to learn more about other businesses’ efforts in the eco-front.
